Enhancement

  • Support SST Treatment for Rental and Leasing Services

Highlights

1. Support SST Treatment for Rental and Leasing Services

A new SST tax code SVR-6 has been introduced to support 6% Service Tax for Rental or Leasing Services, with 2% service tax exemption based on the latest SST treatment.

This enhancement ensures correct invoice display, SST reporting, and e-Invoice submission mapping.

1.1 Added New Tax Code SVR-6

A new tax code SVR-6 has been introduced in Tax Code Maintenance > Configure Malaysia SST > Output Tax.

1.2 Invoice Display Enhancement

When using the SVR-6 tax code, the invoice will continue to display 6% SST at both the invoice line level and invoice summary.

System will automatically calculate the 2% exempted service tax amount and make it available as a new field that can be displayed on the invoice.

Note:

You may design your invoice report to include this exempted SST amount field, which can be displayed at the bottom left section of the invoice.

1.3 SST Return Form (SST-02) Enhancement

Transactions using SVR-6 will be reflected in the SST-02 return form once payment is received, under No. 11(c) and No. 18(c)(3).

These enhancements were made available on 9 March 2026!
