OneSales Marketplace has a Demo Mode function to allow users to try out the overall feel and flow of OneSales Marketplace.
To enable Demo Mode, kindly refer to the steps below:
1) Create a new company, for example: COOKING ABC SDN BHD.
2) Login into the company, then go to Settings.
3) Go to Marketplace Solution > Advanced > Tick Demo Mode, then click on “Save”.
4) Key in the Company Name and click on “Save”. This is just an additional precautious step to prevent any accidental incident on enabling Demo Mode.
5) Now you will be able to see the Demo Mode status on your left menu bar. Once you have enabled the Demo Mode, it cannot change back to normal company (non-demo mode).
Online Shop
In Demo Mode, you don’t have to link it to any of your own Shopee or Lazada seller account. You can add online shops freely by just clicking on the “New Shopee” or “New Lazada” and the Demo Shopee shop or Demo Lazada shop will be added as your Online Shops.
Online Shop Order
After adding Demo Shops, you can also sync demo orders into your company. Go to Online Shop Order > Select Online Shop > Click on “Sync” button. You should be able to see some sample of orders from Shopee or Lazada synced to your company.
*The orders generated refers to the Shop Start Date. You can see the start date of the Shop from Master Data > Online Shop > Edit the specific shop and you shall see a "Start Date" field.
Kindly make sure you filter the correct date range if you wish to inquiry.
Online Shop Return
This also applies to Online Shop Return. Go to Online Shop Return > Select Online Shop > Click on “Sync” button. You should be able to see some sample of return orders from Shopee or Lazada synced to your company.
With these sample orders, you can perform posting to see how system handles your inventory and account posting. You should be able to notice some deduction of product quantity in your stock card and some Journals generated for your sales double entries.

Online Shop Payment
You can also perform Online Shop Payment to see how the system handles marketplace payments to you, which is the seller in this case. Go to Online Shop Payment > Select Online Shop > Click on “Sync” button to sync your payments > Click “New” to generate online shop payment > Filter the date range > Click “Confirm”.
After that, you should be able to see some sample payments from Shopee or Lazada. Click “Save” to post these payments to your company. System will generate Cash Book entries to handle the double entries and posting of these payments and related fees.
