Introduction
This guide provides a step-by-step process for submitting standard e-invoices to the LHDN MyInvois Portal using AutoCount Cloud Accounting.
Preparation before creating the LHDN Standard e-Invoice
Refer to the guidelines for setting up LHDN e-Invoice and ensure that all settings are completed.
Setting to Kickstart e-Invoicing
Creating LHDN Standard e-Invoice
1. Go to ‘Invoice’ under ‘Sales’ to create your invoice as usual. Refer to How to create Invoice
2. Please ensure that the following information is completed before submitting for LHDN e-Invoice validation.
- The selected customer is correctly mapped to the Tax Entity.
As shown in the screenshot below, if the Tax Entity is displayed with a Tax Identification Number (TIN), it means that the customer is mapped to the Tax Entity.
-The selected product is correctly mapped to the Classification Code.
As shown in the screenshot below, the product is ‘iPhone 13’ and it showed the classification code ‘003’ (Computer, smartphone or table).

3. For users with approval workflow enabled, there are two options:
a. Click the ‘Save’ button to save the invoice as a draft, allowing you to double-check the details before submitting for approval.
b. Click ‘Submit for approval’ directly to submit the invoice to your superior for approval, once you have ensured all the information is correct.
Note: The invoice report will display a watermark if its status is not approved.
4. As a superior, you can log in to Cloud Accounting with your username and password. Click on the Invoice Status dropdown and select ‘Awaiting Approval’ to view the list of invoices awaiting approval. Then, click ‘View’ on the invoice you wish to approve.
Note:
You can use the Invoice Status dropdown to filter invoices by status (e.g., Draft, Awaiting Approval, Expired, Approved, etc.).
5. After confirming that all details are correct, click the ‘Approve’ button to approve the invoice.
Note:
Only approved invoices will be submitted for LHDN e-Invoice validation.
If the approval workflow is not enabled, you can save the invoice directly for validation.
6. Once the invoice is approved, it will be automatically submitted for e-invoice validation. You will see the ‘e-Invoice Status’ and ‘Submitted Date and Time’ displayed. Click ‘View Details’ for more information on the e-Invoice validation.

You can view the validated e-Invoice in your MyInvois Portal, as shown below.
Print validated LHDN Standard e-Invoice
You can print or export validated e-Invoice and share it to your customer.
1. Mouseover to ‘Action’ then click ‘Print’.
2. Select ‘Full Tax Invoice (Malaysia e-Invoice)’, then click ‘OK”.
The e-Invoice you share with your customer will include a QR code at the bottom right, labelled 'LHDN Validated Link,' which they can scan to verify the validation of the e-Invoice.
