This guide will assist you in hiding employee's name in payroll summary report where it will show just the total amount in department.
To hide an employee's name in payroll summary report, go to Reports.
Select the desired report to customize and click on the edit icon next to the report name to edit the report.
Another method is to first click on Preview to preview the report.
Then click on the edit icon next to the printer icon to edit the report design.
The page will then be in designer mode for user to customize the report.
Click on Detail 1 at the left side of the report design template, then under Behavior, untick the option for Visible.
The click on the three lines at the top left corner of the screen to expand the panel / menu.
Select Save As
Enter a unique name of the new report and click on Save to save the report.
Go back to the main page to preview the report.
Select the newly designed report and click on Preview.
Employee names are now hidden and report is only showing department.
