This guide will assist you in setting up a new calendar in your company by providing a checklist of items required for the creation of the calendar. A calendar for every employee is essential especially if that employee is utilizing the e-Attendance module as the main functionality of the calendar is used to pre-determine the rest days & public holidays of the employee's overtime can be calculated accurately. 



Checklist of items / information required when it comes to setting up a new calendar:

i) Code 

- A code used to identify the calendar. Usually in a form of short form, example: code for 'KL Based Calendar' could be 'KL'.


ii) Description 

- A description is a full description of the calendar, usually used to describe the calendar. Example; Description for 'KL' would be 'KL Based Calendar'.


iii) Holidays 

- List of holidays that the calendar gazettes. 

Note: The list of holidays will usually be provided by the system at the beginning of the year.


iv) Rest Days 

- The rest days that the employees follows, example: Saturday & Sunday [This excludes annual leaves]
